Hopeless romantic with a slight impish side

Who would have known finding a nice guy would be so difficult? I've looked under rocks & bushes, even turned over a mountain of sand by now & darn it if I’m not finding much more that lizards & snakes, even found a scorpion or two. I am very much a hopeless romantic with affinity towards old fashioned & traditional ideals when it comes to family & life. Can we say grew up with shows like The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie & Grizzly Adams? What can I say, I like the simple life & just try and enjoy it as it comes. Time spent with family and friends are some of my favorites. It really doesn’t matter to me what we are doing, whether it be camping, fishing, BBQ’ing, going to the movies, out to dinner, showing the dogs, gardening, hiking, working on my Jeff Foxworthy homestead cabin and property or just relaxing at home with a home cooked meal and a dvd, a good book, crafts or the computer. I have more interests than I could ever possibly list, might have a little to do with the fact that I am normally willing to try just about anything at least once. With my job as a police dispatcher I get enough drama there that I try and keep my home life as drama free as possible. For the most part I am very laid back and easy going. I love to stop and smell the roses… Maybe I stop and enjoy them a bit too much on occasion and lose track of the time, LOL. I believe life is here to enjoy and to be enjoyed to the fullest. Only missing someone to share it with. The traits I find most attractive in gentlemen are honesty, loyalty, and faithfulness. Hmmm… Sorry, that sounds a bit like I'm looking for a dog... Already got the dogs and as much as I love them they are after all just dogs and there are a few things that a guy can do that they can’t, so I guess I will just continue to look for those traits in human form and hope that they exist in someone, somewhere out there. I'm not into playing games. I can do that with the dogs and have a whole lot more fun with them
